Terms of Service

Posting on BizList is free and will remain free. We will never introduce a mandatory payment to create, keep or renew a listing. Optional paid features (verification, boosts, BizList Safe escrow and shop-page addresses) never block free posting.

You need a verified phone number or email to post. One account may own many business pages. You are responsible for what is posted from your account and your business pages.

Each account may hold at most 3 active listings per category. Listings expire automatically after 30 days and can be reposted free with one click. We may remove listings that break these terms.

No counterfeit goods, stolen property, weapons, drugs, live animals sold illegally, sexual services, human trafficking, financial scams, or anything unlawful in the country where the listing is shown. No impersonation. No fake verification claims.

Ranking is based on freshness, listing completeness and your response time. Payment for a boost is the only thing that changes position, it lasts exactly 7 days, and it never changes your underlying rank score.

Verification (“Face + NIN Verified”) confirms that a person matched a government identity document through our provider. It is a good-faith trust signal, not a guarantee of anyone’s honesty, creditworthiness or the quality of their goods. The fee is ₦500 ($2 globally) per check and is non-refundable once the check has run.

BizList Safe is optional and encouraged. When used, funds are held by our payment provider and released when the transaction completes. Our fee is 3%, capped at ₦5,000 or $10. If you choose to pay outside BizList Safe, you accept that we cannot protect, refund or recover that payment.

Rent and property listings are agreements between the landlord and the tenant. BizList auto-links rent listings to property records so tenants can apply and landlords can respond, but we are not a party to the tenancy and do not act as an agent. Never pay an inspection fee or rent without first confirming the property and the person.

Payments are processed by Paystack (Africa) and Stripe (global). Boosts and completed verifications are non-refundable. Escrow refunds follow the payment provider’s process and our case review.

BizList connects people. We do not own, inspect or guarantee the goods, services or properties listed. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cybersect BizNet is not liable for losses arising from dealings between users.
